Young Content Creators!

In autumn 2025 we worked with Dorset Wildlife Trust and Participation People to train nine amazing young people (14-19), from across the county, in content creation skills. The project aimed to give them a voice on issues that mattered to them. The group learnt how to tell stories, create videos, frame their photos, explore the ethics and safety of responsible media content – and then create storyboards and their final content.

The group created inspiring social media content (available below) focused on issues such as the decline of Dorset’s wildlife, the importance of pollinators, using nature for wellbeing, as well as actions people can take to support nature. It’s been a delight to watch the group grow in confidence and see their content develop.

You can read a case study on three of the Young Content Creators illustrating their journey and plans for the future.

We are continuing to work with the group. So watch this space for more great content!
