Activity: Hardy Hands volunteers at Thorncombe Woods help the rangers with simple tasks which conserve the woodland, maintain the wildlife gardens and visitor centre, and provide the opportunity to learn new skills whilst socialising in the great outdoors. The sessions are aimed at those with health inequalities and you’re welcome to bring your assistant/carer.
Sessions always end with a cuppa and a chat.
Suggested things to bring: waterproofs, suitable outdoor footwear and car parking money (£1 for 2 hours). Money for the café if you want lunch afterwards.
More info and to book: It is essential to book, please contact Claire on 01305 251228 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
