Dorset History Walks

Date/Time
Date(s) - 18/12/2019
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Activity: Starting with a general introduction to the history of the place, we will then walk around to look at some particular features of interest. We will use historic photographs to find out what has, and hasn’t, changed over the past century or so. These walks are intended for people who do not have a detailed knowledge of the history of the town or village, but who would like to know more. Delivered by Steve Wallis.

Suggested things to bring: We recommend stout shoes and waterproofs, just in case.

Cost: Free

More info and to book: Contact Steph on 01305 224788 or email stepin2nature@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk

Directions for each walk will be emailed a few days before the event.

We always strive to make our walks accessible and will facilitate if we know the abilities of individuals coming. Please get in contact to ask about individual walks routes as some will be more accessible than others.
