Annual Forum 2020

Planning for Nature’s Recovery in Dorset

Although Dorset has some of the richest wildlife hotspots in the country and a wealth of biodiversity, some species and habitats have declined as much in Dorset as throughout the rest of England. Strong partnership working and conservation effort in Dorset has resulted in several local exemplars of how to address and reverse some of the declines.

Our vision is for a thriving natural Dorset where nature starts to recover, flourishing in larger, wilder and more resilient spaces and more work is needed to deliver nature recovery in the county.

Forum Aim

  1. To bring the Dorset LNP Forum members together as a force for nature
  2. To engage stakeholders in nature recovery planning for Dorset
